Your Nature Deficiency Disorder is Blocking Your Intuition... And What to Do About It

Are you Nature Deficient? 

If you're like me there are vast swaths of your life where you've been overworked and undernourished.   


Whether it's an artifact of egregious hours in a cube farm or frantic client base building from the seat of your local coffee shop, it's a slippery slope. In the "busy is the new black" culture of many western nations, working so hard that you barely see the sun rise or set is the red badge of courage.

From this vantage point it's a simple jump to whisking yourself from one air-conditionered box to another [car to cube, cube to perhaps the gym, gym to bedroom], slipping out of awareness with the seasons, and dramatically out of cycle with ourselves. 

Are you with me on this Starhearts?  

Lest you think I am opining on this tale from a platform, note that the summer of 2008 did not exist for me, as I was too busy working - often from 6 in the morning until 10 at night - attempting to keep the world from falling off it's axle. Ahem.


Like any misalignment, we can get adjusted over time to a new baseline, and forget how uncomfortable, unhappy, or inauthentic we are. (Often accumulating addictive behaviors to mask the unpleasantness along the way) It can take the jolt of an unhappy accident to make us recall how out of synch with our highest selves we've become.  Many of the wayfinding tribe develop a chronic condition, medical issue, or personal problem that confronts them and demands that they slow down, change their methods, and transform their thinking.

Whether you are nodding your head in silence saying "That's me" or you haven't the foggiest what I'm referring to here - I encourage you to commit to making forays out into nature part of your personal practice. And a weekly, if not daily ritual. Before you toss this as overly simplistic, hear me out.

My Knowing, in concert with the wisdom of my divine team, is that society is only beginning to understand how Nature Entrains Us.  When we walk in the woods, or sit by the ocean, our energetic bodies are being pulled to a more stable frequency and being rebaselined to our most natural, powerful states.  

(Curious? Try an experiment - ask a friend to check your posture before your Nature run, and after. It's the difference between Steve Urkel and Superman.)

Our guides are asking us collectively to engage in this simple but stunningly effective practice, as humanity moves forward on the path towards an even more enlightened, illuminated way of being. It's essential for us to stay on the path.

Whether you are feeling the modern malaise or you are gleefully situated on your life's path, I challenge you to increase your Vitamin N.
