An Invocation to Athena:

How much more powerful am I going to be?

I am already a lazy leopard in the sun, licking at my claws, certain of my untamed skill and ferocity.

How much more powerful am I going to be?

I already feel power oozing from my pores like honey, with a viscosity and sheen that would do its mama bees proud.

How much more powerful am I going to be?

I already make men shake and women lick their lips, knowing what could be.

How much more powerful am I going to be?

The wind already reveals its secrets to me, the bees already find my bosom, the plants already whisper their poetry to me to send me off to sleep.

How much more powerful am I going to be?

My voice already wakes men from the shackles of their sleep, my smile calls women to slide into their power, and softens the dissonance of the world for small children.

How much more powerful am I going to be?

I am a bell. I ring. I intone.

I am a lighthouse. I shine. I reflect.

I am an invocation. I am Truth. I Reign.
